Who we are:
Excel Pet Care is proudly owned by Marsha and Jim Jones who are also the pet care providers.
Marsha and Jim have owned, raised, trained and shown Shetland Sheepdogs (Shelties) for the last 35 years. They believe that a pet is a lifetime committment, and because of this, have experience in caring for all age ranges, from newborn to senior. Their dogs have competed in agility, obedience, rally and conformation dog shows, earning many performance titles. These dogs are their 4-legged children and are thoroughly loved and spoiled.
Marsha also has 15 years experience working for a full-service veterinary hospital in the Memphis, Tennessee area. She worked in serveral different areas of the hospital including being a receptionist, assisting doctors, assisting the groomer and helping in the kennel.
Jim retired from a major airline in late 2006 and now works for Quest Diagnostic Labs as a Route Service Driver. Jim will be Marsha's back-up and take assignments on his own based on his availability.
